With this in mind, Mathilde Le Roy founded KAZoART in 2015. Her objective is to simplify and streamline the acquisition of art through an online gallery.
Today, the KAZoART team consists of more than ten art professionals.

We are often asked why the name "KAZoART" was chosen for an online art gallery. The answer? It originates from the "casoar" bird, a rare species that dwells on the coasts of Australia. Much like this bird, the artists we seek to uncover are equally unique both in talent and in rarity.
In fact, it was actually following a trip to Australia that our founder, Mathilde Le Roy, decided to launch KAZoART. It was an inspiring voyage that pushed her to take the leap!
Our team works hand-in-hand with the inspiring artists we select and endorse. Through personalised advice and online guides on how to better understand the internet as a marketplace, we aim to increase their notoriety while giving them the control to develop their career at a pace they’re comfortable with.
We’re delighted to report that many of the artists we’ve promoted now have successful careers in the international art market.
