Artist Chantal Jaffrain presents peaceful yet powerful sculptures influenced by her time spent abroad.
Over the years Chantal Jaffrain has developed simple and harmonious forms. Working with soil, bronze and plaster, she models and plays on formats. She makes the material her own in order to create and share her inspirations.
Her artworks, inspired by her African childhood, are expressed in powerful, minimalist appearances. Realist models of animals with stylised silhouettes, Jaffrain’s sculptures bear all the authenticity of her travels in Africa.
