CALO is a French artist born in Paris who started painting at the age of twenty years old. After a short figurative period he definitely turned to abstraction by experimenting with the most varied techniques. For the past ten years or so, he has been working mainly on two axes: geometric and gestural, i.e. on Immobility and Mobility. In both cases he creates unique works that remain separate from any narrative but which find their inspiration in his drawing notebooks. CALO regularly shows its works in Salons or Galleries in Paris or abroad. For 12 years he has been creating in his studio in Suresnes in the Paris region.
