In the digital age, photography plays with borders and gaps. It emancipates itself and becomes an object of crossbreeding. Frédérique Bouet explores this porosity and reinvents a new relationship with time, memory, reality and the imagination. The creative process of his images is similar to the process of memory by mixing, condensing, superimposing different images just as memory records different temporalities: that of the past, that of the present, that of memory that extends into the perception of the present moment, that of imagination.
