I am part of a rather figurative painting, even if I work a lot on the abstract elements that figuration can contain. I work a lot on the "painting material" and the exact gesture, which allow me to show while hiding in part what I want to create. I want to communicate an "atmosphere" that emanates from the whole painting and I attach great importance to the unity of my paintings, I don't believe, for example, that there is a central subject and a background, everything is as important and everything must interact. A successful canvas must leave a strong impression caused by the dialogue of all the elements contained in the work.
