Born in Paris in 1949. After a management degree in Paris-Dauphine, (69/70/71) I devoted myself to music (drums) in Jazz bands for about ten years (1970/80). I made about 150 personal exhibitions, text on my painting Tumulte et passion La peinture avec tumulte et passion. Tumult of colours and gestures that collide and clash. Passion for colours and gestures that overlap and exasperate each other. They shock each other like bodies trapped in their desires and refusals; they tear each other apart like the stained sheets that surround these bodies. Tumult of colours that flow like the blood and sperm of bodies escaped from their desires, like the sweating of bodies escaped from their refusals. They stain and burn the sheets. Tumult of gestures that lose all control and lacerate the sheets. A mixture of photographs and newspaper sheets reflecting lives and fragments of desires. The paintings are taken like bodies with violence. Passion for colour as a rage to shout out one's need for something, to shout out one's desire for someone. Passion for the gesture that tears and destroys these fragments of bodies, these reflections of hope. Strength of gesture and colour. Control of the gesture: the rhythm is set. Color control: fullness is offered. Painting is there as an act of Love. Jean-François MOZZICONACCI

For about ten years (1970/80). I also work in painting and engraving in Henri Goetz's studio
