I started my artistic life in the ninth art. After publishing my first book, I came to painting empirically - a more sensitive medium. You have to approach Art with white hands, Flaubert said. I think we should approach it with its own tastes and nothing more. First of all because art is a metal that does not support alloys. Secondly, because we do not go beyond what we can achieve ourselves. The merit of a work lies entirely in the fact that someone other than its author could not have made it. In art, any form that goes vertically to the individual has a value for me a priori. My subjects are only a pretext for this vertical. As far as form is concerned, if I have a more descriptive eye than the impressionist one so far, I do not exclude myself from moving away from a certain accuracy. I think that in the arts, it is this vertical, this deep dynamic of the expression of a perfect authenticity that finds an echo in people. The rest is not essential.

3 years at the École Pivaut supérieure privée des arts appliqués in Nantes, one year of Preparation followed by 2 years in the narrative drawing speciality.
