Mariko's inspirations come from mythological history but also from the animal world, which she perceives as a universe filled with sensitivity and uncertainty.
Having grown up in Africa, she was soon led to meet ethnic groups who work with clay. Back in France, she returned to the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier and deepened her knowledge of the multiple techniques that this medium offers.
His speciality remains monumental sculpture in glazed ceramics. Today she lives and works in southern Corsica, her activity leads her to move around the world, which allows her to deepen her plastic research and her questioning on the future of the animal world.
