A graduate of the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design d'Amiens, Charles Inglard alias AROK initially has one foot in design and another in art. For the last 3 years, he has had various experiences in one field and then in the other.

He is very sensitive to artists with a poetic and sensitive approach to painting such as Twombly, Kandinsky, Miró or Chagall. Following the example of these pillars, he aspires to create a colourful, marvellous, soft pictorial universe, on the borderline between abstraction and figuration.

He is also resolutely a product of his time. Indeed, passionate about graffiti since the age of 10, he has been creating murals and using aerosol for more than 15 years now. At the beginning in a very codified language specific to graffiti, he has today a much freer practice of this medium.

Beyond all the talented artists of Street art who are a beautiful source of inspiration, the practice of spray painting has given him a resolutely singular approach to pictorial work: Conceiving on a very large scale, becoming one with the paint, erasing easily, working on all types of supports, themselves of all proportions.

Today this practice is an asset that he wants to keep and reuse in a wider field of expression: volumes, canvases, installations, etc. His painting subjects he finds them in his daily life, in his memories, real and fantasized, in his relationships with others, in the little things that are so important to him.

This artist is exceptionally presenting his works on KAZoART as part of the Street Art Sale for Emmaus International.
