NOISY LE SEC (93), France
Born in France in 1979, Alex Perret discovered photography in Argentina where he lived for six years (four of which in the village of Purmamarca). It was in this adopted country that photography revealed itself to him as a necessary means of expression.
He continued his travels afterwards, always accompanied by his camera. It is through this camera that he goes out to meet people to discover their culture, to transcribe and share it...
His work is a mixture of aesthetic poetry that blends with his love for anthropology and the need to convey a positive message, carried by his human encounters. The retranscription of the daily life remains the central theme of his photographs, allowing him to engage himself politically but also to show that beyond the differences, Men remain all a little bit the same.
This artist is exceptionally presenting his work on KAZoART as part of the Street Art Sale for Emmaus International.
