DROUE SUR DROUETTE (28), France
Aurélia Binet has long sought out what her artistic vibration was and it was during her studies at the École de Condé (Paris) in restoration and heritage conservation (painting field) that oil painting really imposed itself on her. In addition to her love for the history of Art and especially for the Italian and Flemish Renaissance periods, learning to copy the works of great artists such as Raphael, Arcimboldo, Rembrandt and De Vinci...; made her want to continue in this direction and to bring her vision and her contribution to art.
It is through existing works that Aurélia Binet expresses herself and that she has found the vibration that she missed so much. She likes to give this different look (her gaze) to works such as Michelangelo's David, Arcimboldo's Autumn, Gustave Courbet's self-portrait.... She appreciates understanding them because of their complexity and thus grasping the artist's gaze. Under her brushes, she creates a tribute to their magnificent works.
