Audrey Rouvin is a painter and illustrator who lives and works in Brittany. After four years of studies at the Pivaut School of Applied Arts in Nantes, she obtained a diploma in decorative painting, specializing in trompe-l'oeil, ornamentation and oil painting.
She broadens her know-how and techniques during numerous internships and artistic experiences but also she satisfies her curiosity in contact with artists and craftsmen, in particular during an internship in a stained glass workshop in Chartres and another in a jewelry store in Nantes.
In 2014 and 2015, she produced the sets and paintings for the Guinguette de Tours as part of the "Tours sur Loire" festival. This collaboration with the association "Le petit monde" took him to work in Thailand on the decoration of a bungalow at the Blue Lagoon hotel on the island of Koh Chang then on the site of the opening of the tavern "La Javelle "(Paris XVIth).
In 2016, she participated in the artistic residency with the L'armacca artillerie collective at the Hotel Pasteur in Rennes. At the same time, she practices watercolor and inks as an autodidact and regularly exhibits her personal works in her region.
Passionate about decorative arts, comics and architecture, her ink illustrations open the door to dreamlike and nostalgic realms where nature still occupies the leading role.
She is currently participating in a comic book project with screenwriter Tarek and an exhibition with Vincent Pompetti is scheduled for this year 2021 in a contemporary art gallery in Bourges and Rennes at L'atelier Noir Noir. She has also just joined the JPHT gallery in Paris and will participate in a collective exhibition at the Marché Dauphine (Saint-Ouen) on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of Gainsbourg's death.
