Walter Scott is a theorist of Disfigurement at the crossroads of the Free Figuration of Robert Combas, of the surrealism of Joan Miro and of the Pop Art of Franck Stella.
The artist does not reject any influence "I love Emile Nolde, Kircher, Gauguin, Combas ... I love them so much that I distort them until we no longer see them".
Painting, engraving, xylography, linocut, woodcut, Walter Scott does not shy away from any technique to give life to tormented but very colorful figures.
He is experiencing tremendous success in France and internationally.
