Pierre Risch is a painter and sculptor with a singular approach, this devil of a man knows how to do everything, all by himself he is an encyclopedia of the arts of the hand. An accomplished lithographer and engraver, draftsman and sculptor, watercolor virtuoso, he is also the Master of pastel.
For half a century, Pierre Risch has renovated, revived and reinvented these two poor parents of art, giving them back their letters of nobility. 1959 to 1960: School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg
1964: moved to Montmartre and met one of his masters, Jean-Louis Viard, with whom he took evening classes at the City of Paris, rue Lepic from 1965 to 1970. The two men will be linked by friendship and respect until the death of Jean-Louis Viard in 2009.
1966: joins a group of painters in Paris to learn the arts of printmaking: etching, aquatint, drypoint, as well as lithography and serigraphy.
1968 to 1970: participation in the Salon d'automne, the Salon des artistes français and the Salon des indépendants.
