Born and living in the south of France, AkantriA alias Catherine Vasseur is fascinated all year round by the colors of the Mediterranean climate. Photography has always fascinated her day after day. As a little girl, she was already assisting her father and developing film photographs in the developer and fixer boxes!
She looks for lights, contrasts, colors and movements. His favorite game is to divert objects as he pleases. So in 2015, she decided to exhibit her images. She is fascinated by the color BLUE and the use of this color over the centuries. Indeed, BLUE evokes the sky, water, sea, space, air and travel. She associates it with ideas of wonder, freedom, dreams and serenity.
Today, she presents her series “Variation around Blue and“ Others. ”Others like the color pink or red of laurels for example.
