Franck Claudon’s work presented here reflects his vision of the world and images, through the filter of irony, insolence with regard to subjects as diverse as fashion, religion and the cult of appearance.
Under colourful and vivid representations, he describes a world that cracks under his varnish.
The wire is present as a witness to what it reveals the surface, the outline of things; not the depth.
It is limited to the smooth surface of a speech with hidden truths.
Franck’s next project is to move towards abstraction and the elaboration of worlds where primitive matter meets a living spirituality.
