Laurence Biaggi's work places the individual in the context of the world around him. It strongly evokes the uniqueness of the link that exists between each man and his environment. Moved by the universality of everyday life and its simplicity, she gives substance to the happy solitude of beings in the face of great spaces.
Laurence Biaggi does not construct her work as a pedagogy but as an invitation to walk hand in hand. She suggests an interpretation of her images, without ever imposing it. Her approach is essentially sensitive, focused on the multiple and subtle variations of light and color, whose vibrations are revealed by fundamentally photographic means (the blur, the optical refractions, the precision of details). Her compositions tend towards purity and operate a form of abstraction on the motif: retaining only the essential, or twisting her forms through plastic audacity, the artist distances herself from reality and the places she photographs, although they are always very significant in her eyes.
