Trained as a graphic designer, Olivia turned to sculpture in 2007 after meeting an iron worker in Lebanon. It became necessary for her to be in contact with the material, to add a third dimension to her work.
Steel then became her medium of choice. Behind an apparent hardness and coldness, hides a flexible, flexible, powerful material. The possibilities are infinite. Sometimes left raw, it can also be combined with other materials such as wood which, over the years, is becoming more and more present. Vegetal elements are also used in assemblies or weavings inspired by nature.
Olivia also sometimes takes pleasure in using ink and paint on all sorts of materials that she recovers.
Writing her own language in the hope that it will be understood by as many people as possible is what Olivia strives for, constantly looking for new writing inspired by her stays in different countries: Lebanon, Kuwait, Togo and Papua New Guinea.
