Claire Hur de Sacy was born in 1964. She draws and paints since her childhood. Her painting is defined by the movement, the light, the work of the matter, the color.
Claire works a lot around the body and its movement, seeks to translate emotions, a deep feeling. She regularly draws her inspiration from the region that is dear to her: Brittany, with its seascapes bathed in changing light.
Oil painting with a knife is a technique that she particularly likes, especially for the synthetic research that it imposes. She has a lot of pleasure in working the material, she superimposes layers to create depth.
Her works seek to render the colored harmony that corresponds to what the artist wants to express.
