Anne-Michelle Vrillet has been using digital tools since the early 90's, she has for years created ephemeral installations, enhancing spaces, transcending them with everyday objects, seeing them come to life, changing perspectives and their environments.
Anne-Michelle uses the colors of time, those anchored to her soul, her feelings, but also, those of the unspeakable, impalpable energy at the moment T. From her studies of archaeology, she keeps the taste of the burial, of the veiled-unveiled, her paintings are built with the wire of the matters and the gesture. She scratches, adds, starts again.
"The sensuality of the matter, the smell of the materials, the intensity of the color are moments of intense relation to oneself and if there is narcissism in art it is well there that it is located. Otherwise we speak in terms of image ... The strength increased tenfold, the requirement of research are common feelings of artists. I never know what my paintings will look like ... the dialogue is established until the moment when there is nothing more to say. Anne-Michelle Vrillet.
Her preoccupation is to offer a space that leaves room for the viewer to project his or her story or to let the painting whisper to the soul a search for meaning. The trace is a common feature of her work, a universal writing, which the Human being shares since its appearance on earth.
She has always painted, she has always been an artist of live performance, advertising or events, living from her art is not the easy way but for her, painting is a vital act like eating or sleeping.
