Amedeo Clemente Modigliani was an Italian painter and sculptor who worked mainly in France. He is known for his portraits and nudes in a modern style characterized by a surreal elongation of faces, necks and figures that were not well received during his lifetime, but later became highly sought after. Modigliani spent his youth in Italy, where he studied the art of antiquity and the Renaissance. In 1906, he moved to Paris, where he came into contact with artists such as Pablo Picasso and Constantin Brâncuși. In 1912, Modigliani exhibited highly stylized sculptures with the cubists of the Golden Section group at the Salon d'Automne.
Modigliani's work includes paintings and drawings. From 1909 to 1914, he devoted himself primarily to sculpture. His main subject was portraits and complete figures, both in pictures and sculptures. Modigliani had little success during his lifetime, but achieved great popularity after his death.
This artist is so sought-after that we don't have any more works at the moment.
