Laure Escudier has practiced drawing and poetic writing, music from a very young age, immersed in a poetic, creative and artistic family universe. She thus intended very early on to create, while circulating from one art to another, enriching each other, without being able or willing to really resolve to limit this permanent exchange. The poetic aspect of the drawing, of the ink is very important, as is the watercolour. Thus, often starting from nature, from a sensitive and poetic universe, from a solitary imagination, the works unfold in an organic, tactile and mysterious way.
Laure Escudier joined the Beaux-Arts de Toulouse after a literary baccalaureate with a major in visual arts, and then, after a year of study, she continued her work alone in drawing in connection with poetry, exhibiting and illustrating collections regularly, mixing visual arts, music and poetry and obtaining degrees as a composer, violinist and music teacher.
