Mons (70), Belgium
From a very young age, I was fascinated by symbolism and surrealism as a dreamlike vision, an artistic expression of the subconscious, both in painting and in photography or literature, disciplines from which I draw my inspiration.
"Belgian creator-Photographer residing in Mons.
Photography has always been his passion.
This passion, which for a period of his life was a profession, has now returned to its primary vocation, pure artistic design.
The influence of the unconscious in aesthetics has always fascinated him and he quotes with fervour Dali, Magritte, Delvaux, Tanguy and all the surrealist creators.
This inclination that he still claims today is undoubtedly felt in his images.
For several years now, the artist has devoted himself to the search for beauty in originality and aesthetics in paradox and non-conformism.
He likes the staging of objects that he diverts from their primary function, characters, transfigured, placed in surprising situations, in incongruous places.
His images and the titles that accompany them are always spiced with humour and sometimes grating irony.
Valy regularly exhibits in Belgium and her works are visible on several sites and digital galleries."
