I am a painter, draftsman and engraver.

The source of my inspiration is the light that gives life to the world.

My creative work is therefore carried out both in figuration: expressing the world, and in abstraction: seeking and finding the forms of this expression.

I say "express the world" in the broadest sense: observation and imagination.

I am an artist of the lineage who begins at the cave of Lascaux, continues through Antiquity and the Middle Ages, enters the Renaissance, goes through the Baroque and Classicism and finally, comes to us with Impressionism, Cezanne, the wild animals.

First, I present you some drawings from my series "Approach to drawing through masterpieces", the encounter of my fine, elegant and fair drawing with the cultural layers of art.

I studied in 1983-1987 at a private school of applied arts in Paris: Atelier Met de Penninghen and Jacques d’Andon, Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Graphiques (ESAG). I received a varied and excellent teaching that I have cultivated and made fruitful since then.
