I was born in 1959 but my birth to art in all its forms dates back to 1979, a student at the School of Architecture in Lyon, all fields related to creativity fascinate me, both the multiple means and tools to exercise it, as well as the mental methodologies that take it. Apart from the architecture that allows me to exercise my creativity, but under constraint, standards and regulations...
Quickly, looking for a space of freedom, I paint and have the chance to exhibit. Since then, painting has not left me, exercising my profession as an architect, this haven of freedom has always been necessary for me. My first digital recompositions included partial or complete photos of my paintings, working on their dissolution, their revelation. All my current production of photographic recomposition, can only exist with my own paintings and photos, the source is there, the thread of creativity must be continuous. Dreaming, searching, imagining, tempting, retaking, destroying and repeating, all these acts are part of my creative process and strongly influence my artistic vision. This journey of pleasure and pain is just as important as the fruit of this maturation, which thus takes on meaning, from the background that must mark the work and give it the emotion that must appear, the imbalance, the movement, the pain or the joy. My inspirations are multiple, they are woven, organized in my own states of imbalance and strength, life.
