Brittany - mysterious and poetic, as peaceful as it is stormy - is a major inspiration in the work of Juliette Paredes. Whether using oil or acrylic, brushes or knives, canvas or paper, the artist seeks out light and patches of sun with the tones of a limited palette of colours.
Whether tormented by storms or basking in joyful sunshine, Brittany is, for Paredes, an infinite source of inspiration. Brought to life by the seasons, this region rich in relief and height is revealed in all its colours.
Juliette Paredes brings us a universe tinged with softness, combining aesthetic fantasy and an almost dreamlike poetry. Using a chromatic palette of light grey, fjord blue, parma violet and almond green, she depicts the occasionally disrupted tranquillity of the seaside, much to the pleasure of her audience.
