Pascal Langevin lives and works in Paris and Belle-île en Mer 1978: First solo exhibition. Watercolours - pastel - oils from 1980: Employee in various interior design agencies. Continuation of his activity as an artist-painter. Since 1996: Registered at the "Maison des Artistes", he devotes himself exclusively to painting and illustrations - perspectives. Solo exhibitions and participation in artists’ shows on a regular basis (Autumn Show, Drawing and Water Painting Show, Colombes Show, Grand Marché d’art contemporain, Art-Metz, 15th century show in Paris). He also had carpets made according to his models, created frescoes and sculptures, and paintings commissioned by architects and decorators for their projects.
"My work, although abstract, is deeply rooted in nature. It is inspired by its land, air and ocean forces. My imagination, nourished by a regular exercise of drawing and working on the motif, is also set in motion by pictorial "discoveries" that a chance that I invite on my canvases offers me. I try to create a space in my paintings so that the "specta(c)teur" can appropriate this universe (of which I would only be a kind of medium) by integrating his own stories." Pascal Langevin
