LAGLEYGEOLLE (19), France
ZaNa has created a very personal, unique and original technique: her canvases are composed of dots of different diameters made with the fingers. These dots are in fact drops of paint arranged, left "fallen" on the canvas. Everything is done by hand, without ever using instruments.
The chromatic choice is the essential reading key to awaken an emotion in the spectator. The explosion of colours is there to try to transmit a positive, optimistic, and naive energy, approaching the world of childhood. The play of colours is harmonious and soothing. Curves are omnipresent: they are there to create a soft, reassuring and sensual universe, inspired by Nature.
"The shapes and colours are evocative, but the abstraction leaves the viewer free to follow his own artistic path. I wish that everyone can give free rein to their imagination, be attentive to their emotions, and feel free, without guidance or imposed definition." ZaNa proposes to everyone to let their mind open to another universe and to accept their invitation to the Dream.
Nathalie Zaborski is a self-taught artist born in 1980 in Paris and currently lives in Corrèze. After her studies, she had the opportunity to achieve her passionate interest in the dissemination of knowledge in museography, in institutions such as the National Museum of Natural History, the Palace of Discovery, the Museum of African and Oceania Arts... It was during the opening of the Quai Branly Museum in Paris that her encounter with Australian Aborigines painting took place. It’s love at first sight. This painting so colourful, cheerful, generous, a little naive seems to hold a truth. This click awakens in her a need to create that she then decides to release. Nathalie Zaborski becomes ZaNa. In the years that followed, she was able to evolve and forge her own style, her own universe, an expression of the tenacity and strength of character of the self-taught person.
