Thibault Lepeudry

Thibault Lepeudry is a lover of nature, abstraction and colors. A few silhouettes embellish her canvases, a point of humanity with a certain strangeness in the forms. The precision and the finesse of its layers of colors are reminiscent of the impressionist movement. O long to nature and rambling between real and imaginarythibault lepeudry makes its first approach to painting at 14 years old by copying famous tables of Monet, Sisley and Van Gogh. Thereafter, he took lessons on the basics of oil painting, with an enthusiast of impressionism. At 17, he perfected himself alongside the Rouen painter Denis Godefroy, of whom he became the pupil. Strange, you said strange? The artist Thibault Lepeudry is particularly inspired by the world around him. Nature and trees are regularly part of his work and he likes to oscillate between reality and abstraction. Thibault Lepeudry works today with watercolor, acrylic, Chinese ink and greasy pastel, on various supports. Music holds an important part in his work since she guides and the influences throughout his creative moments. Chopin but also Schumann leave their mark on the work of Thibault Lepeudry, devoted to contemplation.
