It is both a visual lyrical flight and a flight of birds in the distance. This ink is a selected piece of a landscape! Behind the hill, the sun plunges and leaves the successive traces of its illuminations. A company of swallows escapes to the west to play longer in the evening light. The atmosphere is soft, the pleasant warmth melts the colours together. This ink is inspired by a little corner of paradise in the Hautes Alpes, it was made on the spot... on a fine calligraphy rice paper with a watermark. The technique is very liquid with inks with very intense colors. The work is laminated on a rigid paper of type Lavis Vinci of color Ivory. There is a nice margin to allow you to cut the sheet for the frame of your choice. This work is proposed without frame. "Aqualie" celebrates the reunion of the sea and the sky. One of those precious moments when the elements come together in a fluid movement carried by the slowly fading daylight. Is it the air or the water that rises? The reflections that blur the tracks. The liquid ink lends itself wonderfully to carry the dreams of a summer night that is coming. Imagine the lapping of gentle waves and you're there! Like the other inks, it is made on watermarked rice paper for calligraphy. With a very liquid and luminous ink technique. It is laminated on a rigid paper of type Lavis Vinci of color Ivory. There is a nice margin around to allow you to cut the sheet to the size of the frame of your choice. This work is proposed without frame. It is certain, a frame is a plus to protect it and to emphasize it! For a frame in the rules of art, choose a glass or a Plexiglas with an anti UV treatment. Custom framing on request.

Catherine Guinot
Emerging artist
  • KAZoART artist since 2019

Painter, Catherine Guinot devotes herself to painting after a serious sports accident. For a suspended time, she lives inside her elongated body, she observes her cells, tissues, flows, feels her fragile connections recovering. Halfway between hyper-consciousness and dream, gestures and colours are found and allow her to rebuild herself // Mediums, supports and subjects dialogue, mingle and interfere, harmony or cacophony, she lets instinct take its beautiful part which sometimes guides her, sometimes limits her but always with the perspective of an experimentation, a pictorial exploration // Each style of painting by Catherine Guinot to its history. Mixed paintings are aerial views, satellite views of galactic or psychic landscapes...another way of observing matter. The stripes tell the story of multiple healing, light waves, colorful and blood flows.
