Eclectic artist, LN Le Cheviller is shared between drawing, photography, acrylic painting or engraving. This artist takes the viewer into a universe tinted by the abstract, delivering a total freedom of creation. Nature is one of the major themes of her work but she gives herself no limits.
Animated by the Arts since always
LN le Cheviller was born in Paris and studied art there. She lives in Charente since 1993 to be able to develop her artistic practice more freely.
She explores and mixes many techniques: painting, engraving, monotype, photography, digital print, installation. She practices a lot of abstraction, but can choose figuration for particular projects (the faces of trapped children, the surface of the sea, ...).
Creative and technical richness
LN Le Cheviller's work is visually very varied, in order to get closer to the themes she wants to work on. She realizes series that can be quite important, like the "56 paintings", concluded by the exhaustion of the subject, the medium and the chosen format.
Finally, she can integrate text or photos to her paintings or engravings. She is inspired by authors such as Virginia Woolf, Roland Barthes, Cormac McCarthy, Marguerite Duras.
Among her favorite themes are ecology, war, and currently, in particular, migrants...
