Escape is at the heart of the abstract. Black blends with watercolour to create an impression of parallel depth. Each nuance is linked to each other by harmonizing the entire work. The rigour of the line is of order and the choice of colours is important to allow the spectators to lose themselves completely by letting go of their minds. This painting is inspired by the dream.

Inki
France
  • KAZoART artist since 2019

Inki is an artist from the Lyon region of France. Self-taught and sensitive to the world around her, she seeks to transpose her thoughts onto paper. Bold and delicate, Inki is a young woman in her own right and this can be clearly felt in each of her creations.

For her, the portrait is a way of feeling what is happening in the eyes of the other. The pencil was his first weapon to draw faces charged with powerful emotional energy. She is not looking for perfection, but for that "little something" that you transmit with your eyes.

From 2017, she chose to give a new direction to what she thought was unfinished. After several years of illness, she swapped her pencil for a brush and felt pen. Melancholic and strong at the same time, she tries new techniques to try to engrave her pain on paper.

One day, by scribbling on a blank sheet of paper, the features multiplied. She didn't think she would feel such things when she visualized her realization, but everything had become obvious. The evidence of linking abstract to figurative, black to colour. To make the chaos brighter, more optimistic. No more all or nothing, but a harmony of the two.

Inki wishes above all to convey the idea that "beauty is not a quality inherent in things themselves" but "that it exists only in the mind of the one who contemplates it". A quote from Hume who animates his fingers on his own artistic horizons.
