Extract from a series of portraits taken with oil paint and pastels.
"The blue man from midnight seventeen-seven on the left" tells the story of a meeting of a few seconds in the middle of the night. In the midst of cries and alcohol vapours, on the edge of solitude, the character and his past are united and measured.

Laura Vallée Remond learned to draw at a very young age by copying the works of artists she discovered in museums and books. In 2008 at the age of 17, she began training as a Model Designer at a Parisian school, Mod’Art International and enrolled in evening classes in morphology at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris (ENSBA). She also takes classes in painting, modelling and live model drawing during the school holidays. "This rigorous learning has been my priority for several years and the basis of my work. It was crucial for me to be able to reproduce as accurately as possible what I saw, so that my drawings could be the result of graphic choices and not technical deficiencies."

After completing her Master’s degree, she worked as a Free-Lance illustrator for Chanel Haute Couture for 2 years. Today, she teaches drawing and illustration in higher schools.

"If I have had to set up many projects in the field of fashion for a few years, art drawing has always given me more satisfaction. Thanks to the teaching of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, my drawing became closer to what I wanted, and I then began to look for techniques that could allow me to express more personal choices, until I could devote myself fully to it today.

I represent a universe centered on women and their desires, between experienced or fantasized eroticism and deification. My work is thus articulated around the human, the sacred and the imagination."
