After studying advertising and then graphic arts, Cécile Valle created a graphic design studio in Toulouse and Issy-Les-Moulineaux and realized projects for communication agencies and large companies while pursuing her pictorial research. At the same time, she gives courses to adults and children in media libraries, schools or cultural centres (Ariège, Tarn, Haute-Garonne, Haut-de-Seine, Paris). In 2004, Cécile decided to devote herself exclusively to painting, becoming aware of her need to paint. She lived 12 years in the Paris region and since 2013, has settled again in the southwest. She exhibits in galleries and various places dedicated to exhibitions in France and abroad.
"There’s the sky, the ground and what’s left between. Escape from form in abstract, floating landscapes, uncertain places. Fragments of life that overlap or overlap, leaving traces of their passage. Details that are finally no longer there and that take their rightful place. My work is only a search for my emotions in front of the world, a necessary appeasement in dark moments." Cécile Valle
