His first experience with painting dates back to 1960 with the painter George Doublet (1911-1997); since then, he has hardly stopped painting and drawing. During his adolescence, he was first attracted by portraiture, then by the impressionist landscape. In 1972, he attended the Higher Course of Drawing of the City of Paris in the evening, then the School of Fine Arts of Rouen. Then, he studied painting at the Académie Anquetin with Mrs Versini in Neuilly and entered the studio of painters Paul Berton and Christian Welter in Paris. He also frequents the studio of sculptor Henry Murail. Currently, he works with dry pastel and knife painting, which brings a lot of freshness to the colours, a beautiful and generous material and a dynamic and sure gesture of the line.
