Born in 1974 in the Paris region, child in Seine-Saint-Denis, teenager in the Hautes-Alpes, young student in Aix-en-Provence, promising adult in Ardèche, then confirmed in Drôme, pre-senior in Alsace Django Ettori is destined to age almost everywhere in France. his professional career is like this experimental zigzag: bookseller, but also caretaker, forklift driver, qualified machine tool worker, warehouse operator, etc.. He makes sure that this material of life, this emotional density, can find in a certain way a usefulness and a way of expression, which he found in 2007 through abstraction and colour. It is the beginning of a productive and life-saving familiarization, which he reformulates in 2015 through a more figurative approach, this time favouring the line and a form of graphic design.

"I am looking to develop an approach to drawing using "hair combs" to make movement the very heart of the subject. All themes lend themselves to this sensitive and dynamic approach. The human and animal portrait, the landscapes. Aren’t we made of the same material? So I try to approach all these themes in the same way. This is a great challenge that I am tackling step by step. And the path is made by walking..."
