Elie Rizkallah

Élie Rizkallah is a Lebanese painter. In 1992, he graduated from higher education in the Institute of Fine Arts of the Lebanese University. He immediately began his career as a painter, exhibits and received orders. In parallel, it is requested by the largest interior architectural firms and carries out prospects by hand for their prestigious palaces projects in Arab countries and Parisian mansions. always been fascinated by abandoned buildings. His painting carries the traces of the wounds of war and destruction but also vibrates with the energy of men and women in Lebanon, their resistance and their joie de vivre. He likes to paint it. For him, these constructions tell us about our life, the movements of our imagination, the folds and folds of our thoughts, the lights and the shadows that animate us. Influenced by the Impressionists - Monet, Cézanne - since her first stay in Paris, in 1995, and by Edward Hopper, he & nbsp; created his style between realism and abstraction. In 2021, he received the honor medal from the town hall of Paris 9th Arrondissement on the occasion of his Beirut in perspective exhibition. He has lived in Paris since 2021 where he continued his artistic career, inspired by the exploration of his new adopted city.
