This work is part of a series of iconic portraits entitled "Game Changers". These somber, yet poetic works feature icons that have changed the landscape of human history.

Rudy examines the concept of pop culture through an interaction of unique mediums. His process of destruction and reshaping conveys a darker vision of popular art, transforming it into visual poetry. This neo-pop art series fuses acrylics, ink, spray paint, and multiple layers of hand-pulled silkscreen to produce impactful images.

Iconic characters often appear multiple times in each work to represent the many layers of each individual's personality: the failures and successes, the dark sides and the bright sides. Each character represents the unconventionality and courage that the artist has found inspiring in their art and in their lives.

Rudy Meyer is a French neo-pop artist based between Paris, Barcelona and Bangkok.

Conventional educational systems being at odds with his creativity, he spent his "studies" drawing at the back of the class. And holding down a job for more than a few weeks? No way. He knew his life had to be different. That's why he became interested in people who were going against the grain and making a huge impact on the world: the Game Changers. He spent days and nights reading biographies of people who made the impossible possible. Their lives were his source of inspiration and courage.

Early on, he encountered obstacles in his life, but finally, at age 22, his creativity allowed him to create his lucky charm company: for six years, Rudy researched myths and stories to design more than a thousand magical objects. This entrepreneurial experience taught him dedication and resilience.

Since 2019, he has focused primarily on his art practice. His artworks are now exhibited in galleries in Asia and Europe.
