This table is part of the deuteranopia series: Deuteranopia is a visual impairment that alters colour vision. This is a type of color blindness. It is often said that the colourblind has difficulty distinguishing between green and red, but what does he really see, and what are the consequences? This question raised, the artist wanted, despite this difference in perception, to find a common language. After observing, with the help of software, images converted into "deuteranopia" colors, she was able to determine in painting, a new palette of "primary" colors that allows me to paint in the colors that these colorblind people see. A painting painted in "deuteranopia" colours appears in a limited range for someone with normal vision, but it appears extremely colourful and shimmering for a colour blind person. So he sees colors that we don’t see, there’s like a role reversal! Here the blues are enhanced with shades of fluorescent paint to highlight the contrast perceived by a colorblind person (who easily identifies blue among the other colors)

Born in 1983 in Paris, I live and work in Savigny sur Orge in Essonne.

My favourite subjects are facial expressions - which I have studied extensively - including the anatomy of muscles and the different movements they allow. An expression is only a moment, it is also a vector of emotions, and that is what has always fascinated me. I found in painting, a way not to freeze, but to amplify an emotion to communicate it.

I work in series of paintings or drawings. In general, everything starts from a meeting. I can also be very inspired by music and performing arts. When I explore a subject, I like to look at it from a rational point of view and feel it to experience its pure emotion. I very often start from dictionary definitions to refer to a reliable source, and I superimpose my feelings on it, this is what starts my reflection: I feed myself on the discrepancies that can result from it. I take drawn, written or photographic notes that I use as material to move on to painting.
