When I was a little kid, I used to draw. I wasn’t worried about anything but drawing.
As I didn’t know that you could make a sketch, or even have an idea, I thought, when I saw the works of the old masters, that they had just put themselves there like that.
So I took a pen, ink and - hop! - I was drawing a picture. Like when we eat, without ideas, without words, just because we’re hungry.
A few decades later, despite a few readings and studies, this has not changed.
