"The tree houses, today they are a symbol of the bohemians too well-off, yesterday they were a refuge for the poor. A relic of industrialization, yesterday’s factories will be tomorrow’s cabins. It is better to move the poor who can no longer pay their bills, we are making ruins and hatred for the future. It doesn’t take long for a factory to become a tree house.

Some suburbs already have their huts in the trees, real houses, ghost towns made in USA, Detroit maybe? Some rich people think that the poor are poor because they don’t work hard enough, maybe they should try to live a poor life. A little over a week in a tree house." - Patrick Santoni

Santoni Patrick is a visual artist who lives and works in France. He made his debut in Street Art during his studies at the Beaux Arts. From the very beginning his work was controversial, as time went by, the aesthetics became more simplified and tended towards advertising posters. Like Gerhard Richter, the artist constantly questions his work.

In 2010 he took a new direction in landscape research with photographic support. His landscapes always have that note of protest that characterizes the artist, they reveal an ideological commitment, a societal drift, sometimes underlined by the title, they are often linked to the hopes born in childhood shattered by the disillusionment of adulthood. His work is now present in many private collections in the United States (New York, Miami, Texas, Los Angeles) and Europe (France, Italy, United Kingdom, Sweden) and in a public collection, in 2004 one of his works on paper entered the collection of the "National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts" in Taipei, Taiwan.
