Frob is an artist who finds his inspiration by looking closely at the things around him. As he wanders around, he makes unique connections which he transposes into his comic-book like artworks.
A compulsive and spontaneous artist
Frob develops his pieces with his emotions and searches. In his exuberant work, he frees form and colour by creating a cartography that connects each element. His works become denser, with an abundant, hypnotic and colourful graphic style.
From thick black felt to bright colours
Frob’s work instinctively evokes characters from comic books mixed with the style of New York graffiti artists from the 1980s. But it is what he sees in his everyday life that leads him to reproduce – first with thick black contours, then in bright colours – that which lives around him. A spontaneous and energetic stroke translates Frob’s clashing universe which is so often governed by the impulses of his perception.
