Rémi Delaplace has been working for five years on a series called "Inside, Outside". His practice of painting is intimately linked to a search around oneself and otherness, through visual perception. Her work is crossed by themes: gravitation, trajectory, levitation, fall... which come directly from the "contact dance". It is about new ways of living in the world, in space. The problems of the event, the orientation, the situation of bodies and objects are at stake. Shapes bend, change trajectory, show us a front, a back, a visible and a hidden one. He uses the fold and unfold as an event, to talk about interiority and exteriority. The practice of contact dance nourishes her artistic work and questions her relationship to space.
Rémi Delaplace regularly exhibits in galleries (Circé, Akie Arichi, Exit...), in exhibitions (Lineart in Belgium, Mac Paris, Réalités Nouvelles...), in art centres (Pontaut Combault, St Grégoire...), in China (Guoyi Art Museum in Beijing, International Art Exchange ofMuseum in Hangzhou). He also works in collaboration with Anne Damesin on social themes. He created the "Rencontres du land art et de la ville" in Paris in 2013. Their installations are presented at the Galerie à Talant, at the Nuits blanches in Paris in 2016, 2017.
