Carole Batailler lives and works in Paris. She first studied Art History. She started working for the performing arts and cinema in 1986 as a costume designer.
At the same time, having always drawn and painted, she followed the courses of the Ateliers Beaux-Arts of the city of Paris, where she was trained in oil and drawing techniques based on living models.
From 1999 to 2001, she worked with two research groups on plastic arts, Nomenclature and N and M, (themes of Dandysm and Pop Art). In 2002, she began to exhibit her paintings, which she created on textiles, then on paper and canvas.
His works have a singular light and writing. Her landscapes invite you to stroll through a nature that she reinvents, a dreamlike universe that she composes in her studio in Paris. Its colour harmonies are just as expressive as the forms represented. His landscapes oscillate between abstraction and figuration. She regularly exhibits in St-Germain-en-Laye, last year at the Galerie des Artistes in Uzes.
