"All nature is subject to transformation, so is all research. In the creation I am inspired by the desire for transformation, confrontation and mixing of materials. Going beyond that, I ask "only" to impregnate myself. This transformation is everyone's quest." - Tanya Angelova

All nature is subject to transformation, so is all research.
In the creation, Tanya Angelova is inspired by the desire to transform, confront and mix materials. She sews the canvas to reinforce her presence, a gesture of personal emotion:"Going beyond that, she asks "only" to immerse herself in herself. This transformation is everyone’s quest.

Trace is the key concept that holds together its purpose in painting. First of all, the traces in the memory that create configurations of the remains of the moments lived, the places frequented, the faces met. Then the trace as a traced line, as a line, as a chromatic element or plastic fragment. The themes of his paintings accentuate the inner experience of the lived world. It is a neo-expressionist conception that seeks to be indecisive between abstraction and figurative elements just like the material of memories.
