A very particular, discreet female back nude. Its volumes and shapes remind us of the cubist buttocks and nudes of the early days of Picasso, dear to the artist. In these times of controversy about spanking, it is good to return to the basics, to the buttocks from an artistic, anthropological and cultural point of view. Clara C wished in this painting developed and illustrated a clear-cut phrase of the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre "the fatherland, honour, there is nothing: the universe revolves around a pair of buttocks". Enough to put dogmas into perspective. This painting is part of a long series of paintings on the female body, a subject that the artist has declined in different forms.

Immerse yourself in the resolutely figurative world of Clara C. where colourful characters reign supreme. As a visual artist, she imagines objects and paintings that question the body as a source of sensation and emotions to go beyond codes.

Clara C. studies Contemporary Art at the Beaux-Arts studios in Paris. Her paintings are the reflection of compositions that send us back to a world of colours, signs, symbols, codes like a chaos from which order and Life is born. An infinite new beginning that makes us travel in tales telling new worlds.

Women, myths, the sacred, are all themes that come back through his work influenced by primitive arts. The characters who escape from it confront her with her roots and her relationship to the world. The opportunity to discover through her gallery her artistic universe and her paintings bathed in mystery.

The diversity and richness of her work has earned her numerous exhibitions in France in Paris, but also in Italy, Japan, Beijing, China and Canada. She is also a member of the Taylor Foundation, the Salon des Beaux-arts and the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'eau.
