French artist Adeline Meilliez experiments with silkscreen to create a very feminine and personal pictorial universe. Between appearance and disappearance, her works stand out by their design, in hollow, in shadow and in light.
Experimenting with the industrial process
Born in France and graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg in 2006, Adeline Meilliez now lives and works in Berlin.
She practices plastic creation, painting, mixed media and screen printing. Curious, Adeline Meilliez experiments, tries, pushes the techniques to their limits.
Silk-screen printing, her preferred artistic modus operandi, is an industrial process that fascinates her. With this technique, she ventures out, takes risks, and observes the effects of transparency through discoloration!
A feminine and intimate universe
Adeline Meilliez paints and creates a very feminine and personal pictorial universe. At the heart of her works, you will discover decorative floral and vegetal motifs, a chromatic explosion, through a subtle superposition of shapes and colors!
Her graphic works, situated between painting, writing and photography, approach the themes of femininity and botany.
