Sigrid MBleu évasion

Artist-painter, Sigrid M works in Rueil-Malmaison near Paris, in a large luminous studio. From a very young age, she has been sharing her emotions through her paintings. In 2000, after organizing cultural rallies for event agencies in unusual places around the world, she decided to devote herself solely to her passion and became a full-time painter,

Her canvases are painted with a knife, she invents and superimposes colours on subtle mixtures of acrylic and pigments. Her work of matter and transparency gives her canvases an impression of the passage of time and escape, always in a cheerful mood. Sigrid M admires the masters of contemporary abstraction, notably Mark Rothko, Nicolas De Staël, Pierre Soulages, Serge Poliakoff and Sonia Delaunay.
