This series, speaks of a desire to bow to some particular plants. Tough ones that allow themselves to grow in the middle of solar hell. Frugal plants that save a lot of energy, those capable of capturing the minute humidity of summer nights to survive. Véronique Egloff has named them the "tough ones" and puts them in the spotlight, because they force her admiration. They are seen as banal and even undesirable. It is their insignificance, despite their strong presence, that has touched her. The artist changed the medium of creation to use a synthetic material (recuperation and recycling are mandatory) and it was ideal as a material for the next steps. She projected her acrylic colours, then scratched, engraved, removed and dissolved the various layers in order to reveal her subject in a certain harmony. This work is proposed to be suspended simply by two small nails or screws to be inserted in the upper PVC bar like a kakemono. The last two photos show this hanging on both sides (note that these visuals are not necessarily specific to the work but a view as an example). This work can be framed in an American box

Véronique Egloff is a French painter born in 1962. She lives and works in Brittany. What could be better than a work by this artist to immerse oneself in pictorial equations having Life as a constant.

Her work invites us to navigate the very heart of vital energy, the one that irrigates us and embraces us in all that surrounds us. We then experience this powerful current thanks to its “games”. Through her dense and abundant work which gives voice to the “living”, Veronique Egloff seeks to raise awareness and raise awareness among her viewer. To do this, she allows herself many plastic gaps, if these allow her to come closer to the idea she has in mind.

A graduate of a business school, Véronique Egloff is still inspired by her former profession as a communications designer, which she gave up to become a visual artist. Indeed, it generally uses communication tools from our consumer society as a medium. Her starting point is an advertising slogan or a snippet of an image that she will hijack and totally transform with acrylic paint into what will become the final work. The one that will carry a brand new message that will possibly "campaign".

Véronique Egloff's works are part of several private collections in Europe, the United States, Canada, Korea and Japan. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France as well as in Switzerland. It also interested national museums which wished to associate its work with their collections such as the Resistance Museum and the François Pétrarque museum (Vaucluse). Thanks to her knowledge of the business world, she has also created artistic interventions in a professional environment.
