The interest of Jean-Pierre Bru is naturally towards architectural heritage and more broadly on the representation of humans in a manufactured environment. Child of the 60s, period of pop art, new figuration and new realism, these movements influence its pictorial practice. The influence of architecture Jean-Pierre Bru practiced drawing and painting very young, initiated by his father amateur painter. Then in the professional context, he reproduced many architectural projects, which strongly influenced his pictorial practice. He begins his artistic practice with watercolor, then confronts acrylic which becomes his favorite medium. He exhibited in the years 2010, at the local, regional and national level with in particular his participation in the National des Beaux-Arts show in 2015, 2016 then the Fall 2017 show in Paris.
